General Financial Policy

Co-pay, co-insurance, or payment in full is due at time of service. To make other payment arrangements, please call the office prior to your visit.

Obstetrical Care Financial Policy

OB care is billed as a "global" fee which includes:

  • Routine office visits during pregnancy
  • Physician fee to delivery baby
  • Postpartum office visit

The hospital will bill you separately and you should contact them for estimates or if you have questions.

Global bills are submitted to insurance with a service date of the delivery date.

Blood tests, cultures, PAP smear and ultrasounds are in addition to the fees listed above and will be billed to your insurance at the time services are rendered. You will receive a separate bill from Pathology for your PAP smear and cultures. You will also receive a separate bill from the laboratory for your blood tests.

Our Patient Accounts Representative will contact your insurance company to determine your OB estimate, which includes your deductible and/or co-pay or co-insurance. Our standard policy is for your OB estimate to be paid in full prior to delivery in seven monthly payments. If you have questions regarding your insurance coverage, call the customer service number on your insurance card and a representative from your health plan will provide information on your benefits.

To make payment arrangements different then our normal policy, please contact the office to speak with the Billing Department.

Surgical Financial Policy

After a surgery has been scheduled, the Billing Department will contact your insurance company to determine what fees will be the responsibility of the patient. At the pre-op visit a minimum of half of those fees will be due.

The hospital will bill you separately and you should contact them for estimates or questions.
